Operators
Vendor performance tracking for equipment operators.
weTrack tracks every serviceable asset at every site independently of the vendor who serviced it. So the comparison is yours, not theirs.
The problem
Vendor reports grade the vendor's own homework
When the only record of a repair is the report from the shop that did it, there is no independent basis for comparing one supplier against another. Or for spotting the part that keeps coming back.
What changes
One record, kept on your side
You can track the performance of each service vendor and compare all of them in one integrated view. One customizable data set drives the charting, so any aspect of the equipment you run can be analyzed, and shared back to the vendors you want to collaborate with.
Vendor reporting
Compare vendors against your own service records
The analytics package works against any data set you collect, including the safety record. So when a failure looks like it might trace back to the service performed, you can check rather than guess.
- Charts and graphs at a glance
- Trend analysis across collected records
- Day-to-day reporting, automated
- No third-party BI tool
Compare like work before comparing suppliers
Start with the equipment, service scope and reporting period. A vendor handling different equipment or more difficult repairs may have different results for reasons that a headline number cannot explain. Your independent record lets the discussion begin with the work performed.
- Identify the assets and service events included in the review.
- Check the work descriptions, parts, costs and supporting reports.
- Separate a repeat service visit from a confirmed failure; review the record before assigning a cause.
- Use the same definitions when discussing results with each supplier.
Use those steps as an evaluation exercise with reports from two suppliers. The equipment service history supplies the repair details; this operator view brings the vendors into the same comparison.
Keep the conversation attached to the evidence
weTrack keeps vendor communication in the system alongside the job, parts, photos and report. When a supplier needs to explain a result, the discussion can refer to the same equipment and service documentation.
Ask your operations team which records they need to review and which information they want to share with a vendor. If your role is to prepare reports for clients, see service reporting for suppliers.
